Tea from Egypt
If Egypt has a characteristic hot beverage, tea would be it. In Middle Eastern countries, it ranks high among those who consume tea regularly and in significant quantities. In Egypt, tea may be served at any time of day or to commemorate an event or occasion. While the tea plant itself may not be characteristic to tea production here, Egypt is the origin of many other herbs and ingredients sourced to craft tea, including chamomile and hibiscus which provides a tart and flavorful addition to many Fraser Tea varieties.
