Tea from The United States
Here is a trivia question. Tea comes from:
- India
- Japan
- The United States of America
- All the Above
If you guessed D, your right.
But wait, is this a trick question? On the one hand, if we are talking about the tea plant, we are talking about the leaves from the Camellia Sinensis plant. This plant is mainly grown in specific climate regions found in Asia. On the other hand, if we are using the word ‘tea’ in the more common way (to mean a drink), it turns out a lot of the tea we drink includes ingredients from all over the world.
At Fraser Tea®, many our herbal tea infusions and organic tea blends are made with ingredients from the United States (US). Our master tea blenders select only the finest USDA certified organic herbs and naturally sweet fruits from sustainable farms in the US. One delicious sip and you will taste why we chose only the best ingredients for our organic Fraser Tea® blends.
Organic fruits like the cherries in our Kyoto Cherry Organic Green Tea, the raspberries in our Plum Berry Organic Oolong, and the mango in our Peach Mango Organic White Tea are a few examples of US ingredients that flavor our tea. We also add dried organic pineapple, peach, strawberries, and apples to many of your favorite tea blends. It’s a natural way to flavor and sweeten the tea.
Have you tried our Peppermint Stick Organic Herbal Tea? Many of our customers say it is the “Best peppermint tea” they have ever tasted. Our Peppermint and spearmint are sourced from certified organic herb gardens right here in the USA. Minty Green Organic Tea is blended with premium green tea, spearmint, peppermint, and blueberries for a refreshing and balanced taste.
Whether you enjoy the convenience of our non-GMO pyramidal tea bags or loose peppermint tea, our blends are available in either option.
So as surprising as it might seem, many of those delicious organic Fraser Tea® blends you’re drinking are from right here in the United States – where we locally source as many ingredients as we can.
