Cherry

A fruit that grows on trees, the cherry is native to the temperate regions of the Northern Hemisphere. Fraser Tea selects their organic cherries from Michigan. The cherry has a unique sweet sour to tart taste. The intensity of these flavors can vary by region. Cherries have been found to carry anti-inflammatory properties and research has shown the fruit benefits pain relief from arthritis.

Hibiscus, a flowering plant grown in tropical and subtropical climates, consists of large trumpet-shaped flowers with five or more petals. It tastes tart and sweet at the same time with a very pleasant full bodied flavor that produces a ruby red liquor. Fraser Teas uses hibiscus to enhance many of our teas. Consider hibiscus to be nature's answer to candies like Sweet Tarts. It has been known to help alleviate nausea and lower blood pressure.

The raspberry is an edible fruit from a perennial plant and is grown in temperate regions of the world.  The raspberry has a sweet and tangy flavor that is also slightly acidic. Raspberries are high in Anthocyanins and phenol ellagic acid, which are thought to help prevent cancer, heart and circulatory disease as well as other age related issues.
